Mytee manufacturers a variety of carpet cleaning equipment machines under the brand names, Mytee, Mytee Light, Kodiak, Eliminator. If you are looking for a decent (In my opinion better than consumer equipment (i.e. Hoover, Eureaka) under $1,000 hot water extractor then the Mytee may be worth a look. I’ve rented Mytee equipment before and it’s effective, but I wasn’t blown away by the performance. The website is elaborate but pages often fail to load. Recommended by many auto detailers.

Probably the most cost effective and powerful solution for home use, small business, and auto detailing. This little carpet cleaning machine does it all! Be sure to buy the heated version. I had the opportunity to speak directly with the owner one afternoon. He gave me over 20 minutes of his valuable time answering each of my questions in detail. That’s service second to none! Highly recommended (although I do not own this machine – YET!). The Durrmaid “spotter” is available with a hard floor tool and a carpet wand making it ideal for the homeowner who wants to maintain spotless floors on a budget.
